Animal Sponsorship Gifts in Australia: A Real Animal to Follow
For a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas or a thank-you, an animal sponsorship gift gives someone a real farm animal to follow. Hidden Camp is our family farm in Glenwood near Gympie, Queensland. You can arrange sponsorship online from anywhere in Australia, with monthly plans starting at $3.
Choose an animal with a personality
Match the animal to the person. Party Marty is the goat who wants to join everything the humans are doing. Cookie loves pats. Babe the pig enjoys a back scratch, while Marvin the horse is remembered by past campers as the campsite inspector. Our ducks, geese and guinea fowl have plenty of character too.
Gift prices at a glance
Feathered friends: Bronze $3, Silver $8 or Gold $15 a month. Goats and sheep: Bronze $5, Silver $12 or Gold $25 a month. Pigs: Bronze $8, Silver $15 or Gold $30 a month. Horses and miniature horses: Bronze $10, Silver $20 or Gold $35 a month. All amounts are Australian dollars.
Bronze includes a sponsor certificate, an animal photo and monthly photo updates. Silver adds regular photo and video updates, a birthday message from the animal and a gift certificate in the recipient's name. Gold adds a feed visit when we reopen, limited farm tour invitations when approved and a Facebook thank-you. The checkout shows the current benefits for each plan.
How to arrange your gift
1. Choose an animal group and sponsorship level on the sponsorship page.
2. At checkout, select an animal or Surprise Me and enter the recipient's name in the gift field.
3. Use the email address of the person who will manage the subscription. That address manages the login and recurring payments, and receives the certificate and updates. Forward them to the recipient or print the certificate for a card.
Want the recipient to have their own login? Contact us before buying so we can explain the available options. You do not need to share your password with them.
Is this a one-off gift or a subscription?
Sponsorship is a recurring monthly payment, not a prepaid fixed-term gift. You can cancel at any time. Choose a level you are comfortable continuing, and check the recurring amount before completing checkout.
Prefer a one-off contribution? The sponsorship page also offers treats for the mob and the Rescue Fund. These are separate from monthly sponsorship plans.
What does the recipient receive?
They can enjoy the certificate in their name and the updates you share with them. The animal remains at Hidden Camp, and several people may sponsor the same animal. Sponsorship does not give ownership or exclusive adoption rights.
Can the gift include a farm visit?
Gold includes a feed visit when we reopen, subject to an agreed arrangement. Camping and general visits are currently closed with no confirmed reopening date. Please do not promise a visit for a particular birthday or holiday without speaking to us first.
Hidden Camp is a family farm, not a registered charity. Sponsorship is not tax-deductible.
