Looking to sponsor a goat in Australia? At Hidden Camp, our family farm in Glenwood near Gympie, Queensland, you can help care for a real member of our mob from $5 a month. Choose a goat at checkout, receive a sponsor certificate and follow farm updates from wherever you live.

Meet the goats you can sponsor

Goatzilla, a silver long-haired goat with curved horns, at Hidden Camp in Glenwood

Goatzilla is our gentle, silver-coated escape artist. She arrived with five other goats from a loving family who could no longer keep them. She enjoys a knee rub, has an impressive beard and takes a suspicious interest in the dogs' food. Her GPS collar has given us plenty to write about in her diary.

Cookie is small, fluffy and usually first in line for pats. Look for her white coat, grey patches and blue collar. She is a lovely choice for someone who enjoys the quieter characters, although an unattended lunch still deserves close supervision.

Party Marty believes he belongs wherever the humans are. He follows people about, investigates the ute and would happily help himself to a plate of food. He can play roughly, so his enthusiasm is best enjoyed through the farm's stories and updates until a supervised visit is arranged.

Goat brothers Zebby and Coco at Hidden Camp

Zebby and Coco are our newest goats: one-year-old Nigerian Dwarf brothers from a loving family in Gladstone. Zebby is the black, tan and white one with the windswept forehead tuft; Coco is the chocolate-brown one with ears that point in three directions at once. Both are friendly, social and already firm friends with Party Marty. Read their welcome story.

Goat sponsorship prices and what is included

All prices are in Australian dollars, billed monthly. Bronze is $5 a month and includes a sponsor certificate, an animal photo and monthly photo updates. Silver is $12 a month and adds regular photo and video updates, a birthday message from the animal and a gift certificate in the recipient's name. Gold is $25 a month and adds a feed visit when we reopen, limited farm tour invitations when approved and a Facebook thank-you.

Sponsorship helps with the ongoing work of caring for the mob, including feed, fencing and everyday care. Several people can support the same animal. Sponsoring does not transfer ownership or give exclusive adoption rights; your goat continues living here at Hidden Camp.

Can I sponsor a goat as a gift?

Yes. Choose a plan and animal, then enter the gift recipient's name at checkout. The email address used for the purchase manages the account and recurring payments. You can forward the certificate and updates to the recipient. If you want them to have their own login, contact us before buying so we can explain the options.

Can I cancel or come and meet my goat?

Monthly sponsorships can be cancelled at any time. Camping and general visits are currently closed, with no confirmed reopening date. Gold visits depend on reopening and an agreed arrangement; please contact us before planning a trip.

Hidden Camp is a family farm, not a registered charity, so sponsorship is not tax-deductible. Read the current plan details at checkout before subscribing.
