Hidden Camp's
Animal Rescue Program
Farm Animal Rescue & Rehoming QLD
Yes, even the cheeky ones.
Need to rehome a farm animal? Hidden Camp is a 169-acre family farm in Glenwood, QLD, right between Gympie and Maryborough. Horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, chooks, ducks, geese: if it moos, baas, clucks or plots escapes, we'd love to hear about it.
Whether you're moving, downsizing or just can't give an animal the time it deserves any more, we'll give it a safe, happy home with room to roam, five dams, 1.5 km of creek and five kids who call the place their "mini zoo".

How rehoming works
1. Give us a call or message. Tell us about the animal, its age and any health or behaviour quirks. We won't judge the goat that eats washing.
2. We have a yarn. We'll chat about whether Hidden Camp is the right fit for them (and them for us).
3. We sort out the move. Drop-off is easiest. No float? Ask us, as pick-up may be possible depending on the animal, distance and timing.
4. They settle in. Plenty of space, plenty of mates and a family who adores them. Retirement, farm style.
Areas we help
Gympie, Glenwood, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Tiaro, Tin Can Bay, Rainbow Beach, the Cooloola Coast, Noosa, the Sunshine Coast hinterland and the wider Fraser Coast. Further afield? Give us a bell and we'll see what we can do.
Frequently asked questions
What animals do you take?
All sorts: horses, miniature horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese and more. Space is limited, so we assess each one.
Can you pick up my animal?
Sometimes. It depends on the animal, distance and timing, so give us a call and we'll let you know what's possible.
Can I visit after rehoming?
Of course. Once we reopen you're welcome to come and say g'day.
How can I help if I don't need to rehome an animal?
You can sponsor one of our animals from $3 a month, or share this page with your mates. Every bit helps keep the hay coming.
